To make a singular noun possessive, add an ‘s
Examples: Tom’s hat/ Boy’s bat/ Sun’s rays
To make a plural noun that ends with s possessive, add an ‘
Examples: Girls’ dresses/ dogs’ bones/ nurses’ station
To make an irregular plural that doesn’t end with an s plural, add an ‘s
Examples: Children’s playground/ men’s bathroom/ people’s republic
